In addition to local staff, Pathways To Life, Inc. is overseen by highly qualified professional leaders who understand the importance of helping you, your family and/or your child get back on track. We take this responsibility very seriously at every level of management and care.
Mr. Chappell started Pathways to Life in 2006 with a vision of better community mental health and preventative services for children and adults. Under his leadership and direction, Pathways to life has since seen great success in helping the community and expanded its model into 10 sites and 3 states, providing top notch services and care to everyone who walks in the doors.

Mr. Chappell holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology, as well as a Masters’ in Marriage and Family therapy from East Carolina University, where he also played football and met his wife. He currently resides in Greenville with his family and can often be found hunting or attending football games in his spare time.
Mrs. Chappell holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Therapy from East Carolina University, and has been working in the mental health field for 13 years. She has been with pathways to life since it’s doors opened in 2006 and has gained valuable experience in all areas of service and administration since that time.

Mrs. Chappell lives in Greenville where she works for pathways to Life, coaches volleyball for a local school and is also a wife and mother of 2 (soon to be 3) little girls.
Ms. Hampton is a native of Durham, NC and currently holds a bachelors degree from East Carolina University, as well as her Masters in Marriage and Family therapy from Liberty. She has over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, providing a number of services to our communites, and has been with pathways to Life for over 8 years.

She is a dedicated ECU fan and can be found every weekend cheering on her Pirates, or spending time with her family and friends.
Mrs. Grant holds a bachelors degree in Sociology from Southern Illinois University and a Juris Doctorate degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law.
Prior to joining Pathways, Mrs. Grant served in a Director of Quality Management and Staff training, has been heavily involved in CARF accreditation surveys, and for 20 years prior to her quality assurance experience she was contracted to provide legal representation to individuals involuntary committed to an in-patient psychiatric facility located in the Roanoke Chowan area.
Mrs. Grant brings more than 25 years of experience providing leadership and professional services in both the private and public sectors and she is also a devoted wife and proud mother of three daughters.
Mr. Walker is a fully licensed LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) and has been working in the mental health field since 2005. He has worked in all types of service environments and can often be found out in the community working with the people we serve.
"I genuinely care about the people I serve. I enjoy talking to people, learning everything about them and figuring out how to best help them."
Mr. Walker is originally from Bismark, ND, and moved to Greenville in 2008. He has been with Pathways for over 4 years now, he is an avid reader and a devoted husband and father to his daughter.
Ms. Pollard holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from East Carolina University and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from North Carolina State University.
She is an accomplished HR professional with over 25 years of experience in the public and private sectors, managing all aspects of human resources and administrative management. The majority of her human resources experience has been in the medical environment where the main goal was to improve the overall wellness of the clients they served.

Patricia is originally from Ayden and has lived in Eastern NC most of her life.
